Established in 1928, Radio Television Hong Kong, the oldest broadcasting station in Hong Kong, is the sole public service broadcaster, provides radio, television and online broadcasting services. RTHK produces educational, entertainment, and public affairs programmes that are also broadcast on commercial television channels.
In 2016, VICOSYS is assigned by RTHK to revamp the main website, add more innovative elements and bring a new look for RTHK main website.
The team has used Drupal, an open source content management system, to develop the websites for RTHK. A fully responsive layout design has been used to enable nice experience for both desktop and mobile users.
The website follows and conforms to the web accessibility requirement and best practices from the Hong Kong SAR government to make sure the website content is available for people with physically challenged.
