01 — The challengeCulture beyond the venues.
Alongside its performances, exhibitions and events, West Kowloon produces a steady stream of online content: full performances, artist interviews, talks, workshops and behind-the-scenes films. It needed a home of its own — trilingual, with member accounts, and easy for the district’s editors to keep fresh — rather than a channel buried inside the main site.

- Trilingual (English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese) video platform with curated rails: special highlights, most viewed, now on view.
- Member accounts with personalised recommendations: what you watch shapes what you see next, plus members-only content.
- Video rental and purchase: paid access to selected programmes with secure checkout and a time-limited viewing window.
- Editorial back end for the WestK team to publish, caption and feature videos and stories.
- Accessibility controls and responsive playback across desktop and mobile.
- SRAA and security-scan findings remediated and re-tested before the platform went live.
- Design, development and ongoing maintenance by VICOSYS.
