Microsoft will stop supporting IE 8, 9 and 10 on 12 January, which means no more bug fixes, updates and other patches will be released. If you are still using IE 8, 9 and 10, you will receive a notification for the arrangement and be urged to upgrade to the latest version of IE/ Edge. It may bother you only if you are still using IE.
